Insulated tanks are the latest trend in storage tank business.
This construction is mainly used for hot water storage.
For heating the water, a pellet heating appliance is used. Wood pellets are the most common type of pellet fuel and are generally made from compacted sawdust and related industrial wastes from the milling of lumber, manufacture of wood products and furniture, and construction. Pellet stoves look like traditional wood stoves but operate more like a modern furnace. Fuel, wood or other biomass pellets, is stored in a storage bin. This can be located on the top of the appliance, the side of it or remotely. A mechanical auger automatically feeds the pellets into a burn pot, where they are incinerated at such a high temperature that they create very little ash or emissions. The pellet stove is a high-tech device with a circuit board and a thermostat which work together to regulate temperature and heat your space efficiently. This construction is used for industry and heating greenhouses et cetera.
Another trend is the opposite situation: to keep the water cool. This method is used in warmer climate conditions in order to avoid bacterial growth.
During installation the bottom and the wall of the hot water tanks are insulated with polystyrene plates with a varying thickness between 70 and 100 mm, which are placed along the walls and at the bottom of the tank to protect the content for loosing temperature.
Buwatec developed special plates, which will follow the line of the tanks and kept in place by the pressure of the hot water content.
