In the beginning of this year BUWATEC transported nine steel fish tanks to Europe. Our Eastern European aquaculture dealer has made a special combination between concrete and steel fish tanks. As can be seen on the photo’s, the BUWAtanks are placed on a steel bridge above the concrete tanks.
The nine fish tanks are part of a RAS project. RAS stands for “recirculating aquaculture systems”. This system makes it possible to minimize the use of water and energy during fish farming. The tanks have a diameter of 3.36 meters and are 1.59 meters high. They are supplied in a fully coated Plastisol version with a PVC 1.0 mm liner.
Good to know is that the nine fish tanks are transported on only 5.4 loading meters!
